Autodesk licensing issues – Crash on startup April 3, , PM. Hello everyone, I have been using Revit Lt Suite for 10 months without any problems on a windows 7 machine. When trying to start Revit lt I got a request to input serial number. After I typed in the serial number it returned me to the same input serial number box. Starting Acad Lt, I got a dialog box that asked for license type and from there it loaded fine. In a journal file I found this message License checkout cancel by user ‘C Apr Failure to connect to Autodesk license server, and I also lost Acad LT I have seen where people have reinstalled the product with some success, but since that hasn’t worked consistently, I am saving as a last resort.
I’ve been down for 2 days and its starting to get expensive waiting for support. Any ideas? Tags: crash on startup , license. April 3, , PM. I had this same problem yesterday. Here’s a link to some instructions I found. I deleted the files as noted and then signed into my Autodesk account. When I started Revit, it found the licenses automatically. Hope this works for you. April 4, , PM. Thanks for your input. I have tried these suggestions and have had no success. I finally got a response from autodesk support after hours again and they sent me a link to a fix that is broken. Apparently I’ll have to wait another 24 hours for a fix to their fix.

What is the error? Is this network, stand-alone, term, educational? Did it work before and was previously licensed? What is your OS? Please provide more information. It says licensing error when trying to open autocad, and contact customer support. Please assist to resolve this. Thank you. There is no one-fits-all-solution out of the box for licensing errors hence why the additional information is needed. I also am getting the message “licensing error” “licensing manager not functioning or improperly installed” This is autocad lt and I am running windows I have tried to reinstall several times to no avail. I have a year subscription which is still current. First thing.. Users don’t call other users.
