About user roles Removing an employee’s access to My Payroll and Xero Me means: They won’t be able to see their payroll information through the employee portal. If they don’t have any other user permissions, this also deletes their user role.

If the employee no longer works for your company, they have 14 days from the termination date to access their My Payroll and Xero Me account.
