On Intuit’s website, there is no announcement yet on the system requirements of Quickbooks Desktop In the version, it only says Windows 10 or older so it is unclear whether intuit quickbooks for windows 11 will run smoothly on Windows We have to wait for their announcement until the end of this year if the version will support the newer OS. But I’m hopeful it will because they have to keep up with the trend or the app will go outdated.

They haven’t provided an update as of yet. I had to revert back to Windows 10 about 2 weeks ago and I haven’t seen any new updates since then. I would get ahold of support by phone or chat if you’re able to. For some reason the responses from QB never seem to quite answer the question.

Going back to Windows 10 is fine for those that didn’t have to purchase a new computer because theirs died. What are we supposed to do. I think that Quickbooks should have updated their program as soon as Windows 11 came out so that those of us with new computers that were already loaded with Windows 11 can use Quickbooks. Then later you should be able to upgrade to Win 11 when QBD supports it natively. So I would have to downgrade my new computer because Quickbooks is not up to date.

Why doesn’t Quickbooks just update their product so that it works with Windows 11? From what I understand, the reason it doesn’t work is because Windows 11 doesn’t come with Internet Explorer and Quickbooks doesn’t work without it. That way I would have to downgrade my computer.
